3 Level Menu Expansion? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

a bit of problem, can't seem work out.

my menu set follows:

code: select all

menu item1
-- menu item 2
----menu item 2a
----menu item 2b
----menu item 2c
-- menu item 3
----menu item 3a
----menu item 3b
----menu item 3c
-- menu item 4
----menu item 4a
----menu item 4b
----menu item 4c

what trying achieve when menu item 1 clicked expands menu item 2, 3, , 4.

code: select all

menu item 1
-- menu item 2
-- menu item 3
-- menu item 4

then if menu item 3 clicked example expands menu item 3.

menu item 1
-- menu item 2
-- menu item 3
----menu item 3a
----menu item 3b
----menu item 3c
--menu item 4

i not want these on "hover" or on "click." instead want people click on menu item 1 , expands items 2,3 , 4 on new page. if click menu item 3 page loads expanding 3a, 3b , 3c. there's no desire have happen on 1 page, click through website other menus expand.

any appreciated, can't seem work.

hi,

you need go extentions -> module manager, find menu (main menu or whatever name it) , under advanced parameters tab set 'expand menu' 'yes'.

you can set 'activate parent' 'yes' if want.
