Audition 1.5 - way to lock settings?

hullo all!

 

got question adobe audition 1.0 (a throwback, know).  have on public pcs in of radio station studios, multiple people accessing single login.  thing is, lately, 'enable undo/redo' has been disabled (i'm guessing manually), has been flustering of users when try undo edit.

 

is there way lock this/all settings down?  maybe registry hack?  thanx!

it's not simple audition 1.0/1.5 later versions, preferences stored in registry.  otherwise, set preference files read-only through windows explorer , users change settings while in application, wouldn't persist on next launch.

 

with 1.0, you'll need save registry group audition when preferences configured how wish, load file update registry @ each login.  save preferences, first configure them want in audition , close application.  then, click start > run > regedit , click ok.  navigate hkey_current_user\software\adobe\audition\1.0\   right-click "1.0" folder , choose "export."

 

you should have .reg file saved system.  can force update registry using contents of file entering following string login script:

 

regedit.exe /s /path/to/audition.reg
