Thread: zero-filled a micro sd card, now it won't allow me to repartition?


i have 8gb sandisk micro sd card having problems with, decided 0 out, problem can't repartition it.

have tried gparted, disk won't appear, when attached, can see /dev/sdb in devices isn't there otherwise.

possible create new partition table on this, , how?

trying 'sudo mkfs.vfat /dev/sdb' saying

'/dev/sdb: no medium found'

depends on wrong it. if drive failed, no.

try fdisk

type m help

try o option or create new partition n
