Running an AIR app as a service.

hi, i'm trying use serversocket class in air make server of sort.  problem cannot run windows service.  used "sc create" create service.  don't call nativewindow.activate, there shouldn't ui.  service set log on user.  when try run it, "error 1053: service did not respond start or control request in timely fashion".

how can run service?

unfortunately, don't have answer question, i'm hoping others in community can out.  running air service has been popular request, not officially support @ time.  there have been couple of feature requests made i'd encourage , others interested go vote on:

 

run air app service on server machine without user logon on machine

 

register , run services on os

 

googling "error 1053: service did not respond start or control request in timely fashion" returns quite few hits, responses ranging increasing time out lengths, changing logon account types, , many other service property tweaks.

 

please let know if able work , others can contribute experiences well.
