+ button missing on CSS panel

hello,

 

i trying follow along tutorial on adobe.com 's website.

specifically when using  dw  cs5  + button missing when trying paste in

body, h1, h2, h3, h4,                 p, ul, li    

 

dreamweaver generates shows error  dialog box.

 

here instructions dw cs3 above web page:

 

there several ways create external style sheet in               dreamweaver. in tutorial, use plus (+) button on css               styles panel:

 

1. if css styles panel                 not open, choose window > css styles display it.
2. click plus (+) button                 open new css rule dialog box (see figure 1).
3. select advanced                 selector type, can use group selectors.
4. type group selector body, h1, h2, h3, h4,                 p, ul, li in selector field. (separate each selector                 comma , space.)

5. make sure define in                 option set new style sheet file. 1 of 2 spry style sheets is                 selected default, you'll need use popup menu access new                 style sheet file.

 

how work in dw  cs5?

p.s.  can css code correct in windows notepad, work in css panel dw cs5.

do see row of icons @ bottom of panel under word "properties"?  on right hand side, there chain link icon, document plus, pencil, slashed circle , trash can - see that?  looking second one, document plus.
