localhost – package using xampp, wamp example. remote host – shared host or dedicated server, windows or linux server
system information:
apache version 1.3.41 (unix)
php version 5.2.9
mysql version 4.1.22-standard
architecture i686
operating system linux

the problem in detail: trying use jevents on site current error is
" * jfolder::create: not create directory
warning: file_put_contents() failed open stream: permission denied in /home/dresses/website_backend/site/libraries/joomla/utilities/compat/php50x.php on line 70"
what have tried solve issue: migrated account synked new install old sql added plug in had error(which dont remember) uninstalled reinstall , said remove information still in sql went in phpmyadmin , removed fields jevent in name
now when try reinstall says "file_put_contents() failed open stream"
is .htaccess file in use? : don't think so
