i having problems renaming , establishing top menu bar
i can't figure out how rid of "latest news" , "popular"

i can't setup side menu bar or change pages. ughh... can write-up quick, step-by-step on areas change change parts?

i've gone through help, , still having issues

go module manager (extensions -> module manager) , these modules , disable them.

the position side menu bar right. not have module position left. so, have publish menu module in module position right.

for showing pages, have create articles, , associate them through menu items. menu items of type front page blog, section blog, category blog , article layout.

if not mind, suggest developing small web-site shown step step in quick start guide (http://help.joomla.org/ghop/feb2008/task048/joomla_15_quickstart.pdf).

also, if possible, after doing exercise, suggest installing joomla! without sample data start fresh.
