thanks pointing out problem.

if having difficulty restoring using backup think need edit sql correct syntax, might take bit of work not impossible.

as understand problem arises database table contains field called 'option' reserved word in mysql, far can see jos components table. try dropping table restore file, , restoring components table manually. eg start default joomla database ie no content main tables set up, install components , restore rest of site minus components table.
