Masterpage problems

since upgraded cs3 cs5 @ work, have been experience highly annoying master page problems. other members of studio haven't been, if open templates use, continues me has problem.

 

 

 

this difficult explain, here goes:

 

facing-page document

i have spread, both left , right sides have master applied them.

i apply master b left page, apply it. still looks master a, though has little "b" in pages panel. technically b, still looks a.

 

alternatively, if want apply master b right page, apply it, , works. problem changes appearance of left page though technically still master a!!!!!

 

so seems appearance left page connected master page apply right page.

 

 

 

sometimes can unlock items master page , delete them. other times appears i've unlocked them, when select , delete , items stay there, being evil , ruining day.

 

can see why want scream , run around studio nut bag? save me, i'm going insane. please.

it sounds have object spanning spread on master b. when apply master, can’t bring on part that’s on left page, entire object , spills on onto right page. edit master b object not span line between pages.
