Multiple installs and local or remote? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i trying decide whether go multiple joomla installs (that is, 1 install per site) or purchase multi site plugin/extension. what's else doing?
also, how people set building? mean, do using likes of xampp or publish them remote server , work on them there? assumin gthe latter, right in assuming then, technically, live moment of installation?

i don't use multiple install because each client's joomla need different us.
in terms of on local system use wamp server.
you advised have test installation first (either on local or on temporary server) way should need upgrade, have tested in sand box before deploying production server.
