Thread: 10.10 beta netbook questions

i have installed netbook beta , struggling unity.
how preferences? ( in set screensaver not need password)
how access files outside home directory? ( in other partitions on hard drive)
how set networking? ( in access other pc's in house)

can understand documentation sketchy in beta no complaints, finding hard use.

yeah, not ready. recommend log out & use gnome session.

accessing stuff terminal, installed docky make things easier.
found if go gconf-editor-> apps-> mutter
& turn on keep live hidden, can right click apps on left side panel keep them there.

didn't play it lockup on me.
