Thread: Sound card for fldigi

i've been trying learn ubuntu linux. been reading thru tutorials. formatted hard drive. yesterday, loaded 10.04 dual boot (win xp). installed drivers printer. installed software. unable configure fldigi sound card work on ubuntu!

should simple: sound card working. onboard card hp dc7100 tower. i'm accustomed win, , expect see name of sound card. see /dev/dsp, , intel ich6 mic devices (microphone?). i'm sure 1 of these devices correlate sound card. one? how?

things going, want practice digial modes on website websdr.org.

there must simple way translate these devices can understand.

try installing alsamixer.
