Thread: Making one shortcut for multiple applications?

hello,

possible make 1 shortcut open multiple apps? succeed in command line, normal shortcuts used in ubuntu don't work same command ( opens 1 of apps).

maybe i'm using wrong command?
i'm using:

java -jar application1 & application2 &

(note first application jar file).
want both programs opened together. there way using shortcuts in ubuntu (aka launchers?) ?
