Acrobat Reader Pro 8.2.4 cannot be launched

please redirect me apprpriate place if there disussions solution(s) cione posted

 

system: xp pro, sp3;

adobe cs3 suite ; reader pro 8.2.4 (as part of suite)

after latest auto-updated 8.2.4 acrobat reader screwd up

all other components of suite working fine

 

there lot of noise similar issue in mac forum(s)

the thing cannot repared here same way reported mac

neither repair nor reinstallation works on xp pro well

 

are going relies patch in order fix bug ?

i've seen special <>.dmg patch mac released, cannot find anythihg regarding xp

when acrobat reader pro, assuming mean acrobat pro. (no such thing acrobat reader pro)

 

could please more specific, when application screwed up. getting specific error message or else? if error message please state exact error message displayed. also, useful know, how updated acrobat pro 8.2.4.
