Computer restarted halfway through update and now AE won't work

hi,

 

i halfway through updating after effects 10.01 when computer decided go bluescreen on me , cannot start after effects (even after re-doing update won't start).

 

i error message.

 

(i see else has posted similar yesterday 2 problems on 1 thread messy)

i running windows 7 64bit.

 

is there anyway can solve without re-installing?

(the rest of master collection works fine)

reinstalling quickest way , cs5 installer should safe. unlike crooked cs3 , cs4 installers, overwrite al lfiles , create new caps.db, should fix issues. won#t lose config data, i'd it. of course have run al lthe updates again after that...
