Virtuemart need pagination in empty category with subcats - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've been looking on virtuemart forum , here solution problem.

i've created category subs, see below.

mp3's (main category)
rock (subcategory of main)
albums (subcategory of rock)
singles (subcategory of rock)
jimi hendrix (subcategory of singles)
purple haze (product of subcategory jimi hendrix)

or "mp3/rock/singles/jimi hendrix/purple_haze.mp3"

as not having products in "singles" category more subcategories hold products need page navigation appear subcategory "singles" become filled hundreds of subcategories need displayed 10 @ time prev , next access additional pages.

i've tweaked category selling singles not use flypage (one less page click through) more user friendly have run problem page navigation, guess categories no products subcategories not render page navigation.

this page (singles) holds albums or subcategories

when click on album custom browse_6s.php page loads can select individual tracks (products) sample , purchase.


the blues - albums category page setup products being shown inside.

when click on product flypage.php loads , have details , sample tracks etc.

as can see blues albums category shows pagination @ bottom there products inside category , virtuemart set-up automatically paginate pages products.

the blues singles category holds album titles (subcategories) , no products no pagination. category become 1 huge long page more album titles (subcategories) added trying avoid.

i having similar problem, did find solutions?
i need add pagination template page lists manufacturer adding manufacturer module it.

also have pages show specific categories, vm not show pagination in these pages too.
