Image hyperlinks to index.php not working - please help! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi everyone,

here's site:

www.thealternativebride.com/index.php

here's trouble: add url (same above) image in header (the 1 says "www.thealternativebride.com"), people can use go home page.

it works in internet explorer , opera, doesn't appear clickable in safari or firefox. also, in safari, weird black line appears 40px below header, behind main body (you can see peeking out on left under tabs).

any idea what's going on? i'm pretty new joomla! i'm missing something.

update: seems have .main section in style.css file , maybe white glare image.

when switch "position:" parameter "relative" instead of "absolute," hyperlinked image works in firefox, main content of site shifted down underneath white glare image.

does help? insight appreciated! much!
