morning all

i'm looking expand knowledge of how use menu system.

on 'people' pages, eg

my client visual colour separator separate 'staff' area of menu 'students' area of menu.

he add line or change colour of line separates 'administrative staff' 'doctoral students.'

i know achieved using css. not know how joomla menu system add specific css class specific menu item. able explain. not work out

i think u should not add specific css class @ menu system .it affect other menu.
u can make apecific menu custom html module
