Plug ins not showing up in Effects and Preset window

hello,

 

i have plugins not show on effects & preset window nor effects menu.

 

i doing examples old ae training book.  examples used ps classic plug in , ps le classic plugin.

 

in effecrts control window plug in show "cc ps classic (obsolete)" , "cc ps le classic (obsolete)".  both of these particle systems.

 

when type in cc ps classic or classic or cc in effects & presets window search bar, neither of these effects shows up, though available , functioning in project , in effects control window.

 

i have located plugins in plug ins folder.  listed psclassic.plugin , psleclassic.plugin.  path is: applications/adobe after effects cs4/plug-ins/effects/cycorefx

 

why can't call them in effects & presets window , why don't appear in effects menu???

 

my other thought changed name in tutorial but  don't think case.

 

this leads second question.  how can find out "real/actual name" of plug in if have given different name in effects control window.

so if understand correctly:

 

1) have installed plguins

2) opened project using these plugins without "missing plugin error"

3) plugin in not found in effect menu & in effect & presset panel

 

am right ?

 

whenyou "old ae" training book, version ? i'm thinking maybe these 2 plugs old work ae cs4 ?
