Thread: Live CD show no partition when try to install


i installed 10.04 (64 bit) on existing window 7 (dual boot now). didn't window 7 , re-install window xp on window 7 partition. use forum , update grub can once again boot bootable partition (window xp & ubuntu 10.04). however, not having great time 10.04 due few bug still can't solve after 4 months , decided go 9.10. problem when try install 9.10 thru livecd, telling me have no partition format on laptop harddrive. search around , tried testdisk , moved linux partiion logical primary still livecd/gpart won't recognize harddrive. help?
