720x480 converting blurry/pixelated to 1280x720

hey, hope can help.

 

i finished editing project recorded on 2 cameras (canon vixia hfs10 & panasonic ag-dvx100a).

 

the canon camera records avchd codec (1280x720), while panasonic records dv tape (720x480). both recorded @ 30 fps.

 

my project settings follows:

720 x 480 (1.2121)

29.97 fps

48000 hz - stereo

when imported footage, fit avchd footage 720x480 screen.

the video looks beautiful within premiere pro cs5, when attempt export video becomes pixelated (almost looks painted) , blurry.

i have tried exporting many ways, anytime export 1280x720, video looks pixelated.

i need export in high definition possible. (h.264 if possible).

please help, out of solutions...

i woud have edited in 1280 x 720 sequence.

 

then have used instant hd (plug in)  rez sd footage in same timeline.

 

 

if have aefx rez sd footage in ...if dont want spring instant hd plugin.

 

otherwise..you take quality hit on sd simple scale within ppro.

 

why did shoot different formats?  (you maybe asking self ...as well).
