Table Border Won't Go Away

i have tried every way can see try no matter do, inner borders of table continue print. @ table, rows, columns, , each individual cell, telling me no border should appear. when print it, however, or export .pdf, inner border still there.

 

what want bottom border header row , top border footer row gladly take no borders @ on having borders everywhere. have idea i'm doing wrong?

 

i'm using cs4 , i'm novice.

strokes applied cells of tables can obscured guides. hide guides , frame edges , able verify whether strokes have been applied.

 

as applying strokes 1 side of cell, select row of table. then, in cell options (note: have illustrated control panel, can found in various places.) select appropriate part of cell wish change.
