Workflow between Photoshop 4 and CP5

i made in ps4 image 8 layers, each layer represents dot on map.

after importing cp5 animated layer.

i want make minor changes in ps4 adjust elements of animation, lets change color.

is there workflow might open ps layers have animated in cp5?

and continue work in cp5
is feature ps5 or there way ps4 , cp5?

 

when select in cp5 layer, see linkage/path image , button aktualisation, both greyed.

so there might way actualise modified layer content layer layer?

there difference between cp4 , cp5. in both cases layers imported , converted png-graphics, in cp4 can edit layer per layer whereas in cp5 (if have elearning suite 2) can edit source file. in both cases changes reflected immediately. tried workflow cp5 , ps4 , able edit layer had effect applied (hope mean animating?). changes reflected in library , on stage. did change color (applied black/white filter) , erased part of image , worked well. have both elearning suite 1 (with ps4) , 2 installed, cp5 , ps4 not in same suite of course.

 

of course using german version, still i'm puzzled 'linkage path , button actualise'. i'm seeing in library:

the green button means there synchronisation between original ps-file , captivate. talking same versions?
