News on frontpage + Article Hits - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have problems joomla website, http://www.flyff-hq.com (or actually: powergamez.nl)

when click on (category) race link in left gamez menu, see 2 race games. page simplified version of category page in blog form. shows list of articles within category 'race', without title, link, author, etc. way looks better, , when click 1 of images, lightbox including game. way, article isn't clicked, click isn't added hits part of article. if hits doesn't count, can't make popular modules, see in frontpage.

is there way give image of game attribute adds hit article? or maybe else?

second problem:

the frontpage's main content not show our latest news. shows 1 article there when build website.

making new article has option "show on frontpage" set 'yes' doesnt work.

changing category of article on frontpage doesn't work either.
this article doesn't have set on frontpage (show on frontpage: yes) show there.

hope can me out! if need information or screenshots, please ask me!

problem 1:

the way set site, think won't able popular modules or articles stats bcz links open lightbox including game instead real article itself. no hit count.

i advise put lightbox link within article. there, visitors have open article (page game) first. then, click counted hit. 1 step more think won't hurt anybody.

problem 2:

this extension: "mini frontpage" want on frontpage/home page.
