Thread: Hp Recovery option
i have delimma,
resized disk in hp mini create 27gb windows partition using ubuntu live usb install ubuntu netbook remix.
after installation, grub menu had 2 windows loaders.
windows vista (loader) boots recovery partition came pc.
other 1 windows 7 (loader) windows. doesn't boot up, windows loader shows saying recent hardware or software change might cause, boot failed because required device inaccessible, please run "repair computer" windows boot cd.
created windows 7 usb boot disk, , did that, no avail. went command prompt , x:>bootsect /nt60 c:\ same problem.

want know if use hp's recovery option restore windows, wipe out ubuntu? or work on c:\ drive? has 2 options, restore factory settings, or restore windows.
need someone's opinion has faced similar situation.
