need help--sample data - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i installed joomla on godaddy site without sample data.

i finished site already. realized 1 minor thing. when user logs in, user menu not there them...and realized because didn't install sample data.

since issue, don't want have uninstall , install again , rebuild site. how can install sample data can have user menu or how create user menu without installing sample data?

(i) if want install sample data after joomla! installed, try following:

(a) extract file sample_data.sql joomla! stable full package in separate directory.
(b) open file sample_data.sql , replace occurrence of #__ jos_ , save file
(c) invoke phpmyadmin , select database using joomla!
(d) import file sample_data.sql

the files mentioned available in directory \installation\sql\mysql if extracting whole package separate directory.

(ii) if wan create user menu, try following:

(a) create new menu (say user menu)
(b) create menu items in user menu
(c) publish user menu module in module manage , make sure make access level of user menu module registered.
