Thread: help with linksys wpc54gs ver 2

my old ubuntu laptop beeps 3 time on startup , freezes. forced me install 10.04 on new laptop. can't linksys wpc54gs ver 2 connect. can see router padlock it. pretty sure have correct password in right spot. can access internet wire connection. i'm sure simple forgot before when card working in old laptop. thnaks help

if network has padlock on have password set connect access point. know said think have password set correctly still sounds authentication issue. know how log access point? if so, log in, verify password have set on wireless network, re-enter if must, try connecting again.
