Offline or Missing files

i moved 5000 images new hard drive.  told lr3 find new files , thought did 8 folders in project.  now, 1 of folders, not showing in catalog. when go 1 of images appears in collection, says file offline or missing. if again try tell lr location is, doesn't find of 400 missing images.  files are, in fact, there put them. import them again uncliking "don't import duplicates" lose keywords , development work.

 

so.. lr thinks these shots in catalog, can't find them.. can do?  thanks

try adding parent folder - highlight missing folder in folder panel open context menu (right click on windows or ctrl click on mac) choose add parent folder. in same context menu check whether have option find missing folder or update folder location. won't have both, use option have search out missing folder reselect it.
