migrating from local server to live server - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all!

i'm trying migrate joomla! site local server live server...

1. i'm using joomlapack make backup
2. upload .jpa file live server www.domainname.com/clients/clientname
3. upload kickstart.php file
4. run on www.domainname.com/clients/clientname/kickstart.php
5. made extraction , takes me joomlapack installation page: http://www.domainname.com/clients/clien ... /index.php
6. on second step put database information, i'm using same info got on local installation
7. when click on "next" got following error

previously created new database , user on hosting control panel [using same information of local installation]

please, need help... i've tried , don't know else

on second step put database information, i'm using same info got on local installation

you need have created database on host site's server , use database install to. database host name may different, database name used may have prefix attached it
clientdomainname_database_name

the error means database connection info used incorrect, can not find database or connect on host server. go host site's control panel , use confirm new database name, user name, , check database host name localhost, may else.
