Mac-Specific Sound Feature Issue???

i have specific problem regarding protective url "feature." i've created pdf of master's thesis , has embedded video (.flv) , audio (.mp3). 1 of .mp3 sections requires 1 play audio , read text down series of pages (that audio continues while text moves down page). i've created pdf , downloaded (from myself) 2 separate copies on 2 windows pcs, 1 vista, 1 windows 7 (both 64bit) --on both of computers have option enable content in pdf-- play without issue. however, when thesis professors attempt open same file on mac apple computers option not available. on 3 macs, 2 newer computers running on macos 10.6.4, reader 9.3.4. pro, , on older mac, audio file mentioned loses it's down-the-page playability. i've tried adobe support (no kidding) days, , burned away cell battery 10 times.

bottom line: need cross-platform performance pdf

there more trusted format sound wouldn't kick on security check seems disable sound?

 

there legacy formatting options need enable (while in embedding process)?

 

there plugin professors need download?

 

i'm losing mind calling support , explaining entire situation entire days. if me... needless say, i'd greatful.

 

btw, used adobe acrobat 9 pro version 9.0.0. make pdf. know file i've inbedded not corrupt well--my profs can open standalone file.
