hi. downloaded indesign cs3 international , cs4 english trial versions. wanted see application mentioned me try new job. began install cs3, , installation recoiled message insufficient hard disk capacity continue installation. have plenty of gigabytes on disk, installation clamoured 2.2 gb more on c: volume. well, know lamers use hard disk in 1 giant, therefore vulnerable , slow volume. use , still want use 8 gb system volume , other. configuration has helped me out system crash.

 

almost of applications offer choice of drive , folder want install program files. product, wants install 300 mb chosen folder , gigabytes adobe folder on drive c:. must joke, think. of applications can manage store needed components in program folder or in separated folder users choice. everybody able find soluton it. adobe softwares, have seen, feed common system folders, unlimitedly. bad manner, mean it. use huge number of programs , 8 gb has been enough smooth working. if 1 giant application - containing unnecessary unskippable components, saw @ 1 of colleagues - wants whole place pressed forsake that. , dejected. next version bring new approach , system requirements show more regards users' requirements.

you don't save making system partition small hold programs well. don't store data on same drive, os , applications on same drive easy imaging , hassle-free installations (despite claim contrary, many programs write c: drive or ecpect installed there) , leave plenty of free space swap file , inevitable ms updates. have friend paperweight used netbook -- windows updates filled entire drive , no longer run.
