Thread: Using mouse gestures (easystroke?) to log in
hi folks,
i'm setting media pc, running xbmc, want able use desktop basic stuff - simple webapps etc.
generally, don't want have plug in keyboard - have wireless mouse (and i'm hoping wiimote working, though that's whole different set of problems) , i'd as possible mouse.
seams easystroke , gesture recognition great way of want. i'm trying work out how log in in first place... i'm not big fan of automatic login, don't want have plug in keyboard log in. there way easystroke operate @ login? run onscreen keyboard @ login, can pretty painful entering non-trivial passwords. i'd prefer way program (reasonably obscure) gesture logs me in automatically.
*have* found can easystroke enter password in password lockout screen on screensaver - shows password in plain-text on gui, that's not great option either.
it's possible i'm asking impossiblesuggestions, anyone? doesn't need gesture recognition - want way log in (and ideally unlock screen saver) reasonable security, without keyboard...
