Thread: Why not DeviantART?

hello, folks!
have been using ubuntu year now, , i've created tons of digital art using gimp, now, there's doubt haunting me.
i'd post work on internet, not intend sell it, , first thought of posting on deviantart, since 1 of important art sites nowadays, , has creative commons policy.
then, realised post on open clipart, not famous, serves purpose of creative commons, want

question is: ubuntu automatically connects open clipart. why doesn't same deviantart? there legal reasons not so? (e.g. deviantart not sooo "creative commons" openclipart) merely practical? (like developers not thinking it)

wouldn't work changed or sold without consent, , i'd mantain authory of it, on internet
