CS3: highlited bars popped up under File, Edit, etc.

using php cs3 on powermac osx 4.1.1.

 

problem:

have these highlighted bars (light purple) on random files under menus in use or not.

 

been using php 20+ years, never had problem. have contacted adobe, answer was, have update cs5, won't run on version osx nor machine.

 

worked couple of hours, shut down, came project later. "popped up" without changing nor adding plug-ins. if go under file, edit, image, etc. have these highlighted bars (light purple) on random files in use or not.

 

example: under image- have mode, variables, apply data set, & trap have these bars.

 

have searched on in php cs3 "clicked" on. nothing. thought virus, ran virus check, nothing. ran disk utilities, nothing. even, un-installed re-installed software, nothing. bars still there. the software still works normally.

 

what happen? how undo or turn off? please me.

it sounds menu items highlighted happens when

certain workspaces in photoshop selected.

 

 

 

go window>workspace , choose default workspace or workspace you

have saved. if had custom workspace may have save again.

 

if never want see menu items highlighted regardless of the

workspace settings, under preferences>interface uncheck show menu colors.
