SSH access workaround? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

ok, have been trying block access directory images in other user , password info came account. found can aec providing install hacks.

so reluctant install hacks going give try. problem hacks not install because of directory permissions. doesnt give specifics other way change through ssh.

unfortunately server charges ssh , due time constraints not satisfied how long said take enable it. command aec says type in ssh follows stated in error receive:

- aec has detected joomla.php not owned webserver.

- access webserver via ssh , go directory \"/includes\". there, type in command: \"chown wwwrun joomla.php\" (or \"chown wwwrun mambo.php\" in case using mambo).

so other options have achieve same results without using ssh?

you know already, if had ssh, never run commands copy , paste unless understand doing.

now, when state block, mean block? block web browsing directory? block robot access directory? block ftp access?
