recording and playback length of MIDI files

recording , playback of midi files doesn't act audio file recording , playback.

 

1  seems have create track length before start record, because otherwise recording stops @ end of visible window in midi sequencer window.

 

is there setting makes audition midi continue recording long record button clicked?

 

2  same situation obtains playback.  playback of midi file limited visible track length in midi sequencer window.

 

is there setting makes audition play end of file?

before record use zoom tool , use{ - mag.glass} make timeline longer recording don't think theres setting ?
