Thread: I want the usb devices specifications in linux please?!

hi all;
in windows, can find specification of usb device (i mean, device usb connector, class type such hid, ports, usb, net, …) in registry under “hkey_local_machine\\ system\\ controlset001\\ enum\\usb” subkey.
i want know intended find these specifications in linux?
is there directory (database) hold specifications of usb devices (with usb connector , type such hid…) ever connected linux system?
i’ve seen “/dev/bus/usb” , “/proc /bus/usb” paths, couldn’t find useful information there!
i have windows xp os on computer host os , linux os’s on vmware:
on ubuntu, “/dev/bus/usb” path has 2 folders named “001” , “002” , “/proc/bus/usb” has nothing!
on fedora, “/dev/bus/usb” path doesn’t exist , “/proc/bus/usb” has “devices” file content:

but, has not usb devices specification connected far! , device “vid” , “pid” , …
could me question?
