Thread: partitions


it seems have 7 partitions on laptop while 3 os, want format unnecessary partitions looks cleaner , there no future confusion if need reinstall reason. have backtrack 4, ubuntu, , windows 7. reason there 2 partitions ubuntu 1 says ubuntu 9.10 , other ubuntu 10.04. tell me how in both bash , bash command line?

copy , paste command in terminal (applications > accessories > terminal):
