Responding to clicks on viewFactory:picture()?

is there way make picture created viewfactory:picture() clickable?  :static_text() has mouse_down property, :picture() doesn't seem recognize that. i thought demoed plugin had clickable icons, can't find anymore.  missing obvious?

i wouldn't mind having clickable pictures either. and, if there way make evident, better (e.g. rollover cursor change) - same goes static text.

 

john - if ever run across plugin clickable pictures let me know - i'll same.
