Thread: Failure to boot with Glib warning on Desktop using Lucid


hello everyone,

last 24 hours or so, icons/applets, or whatever called, have failed placed in panels. first date , time , trash icon. both times re-booting, produced them in panel before.

morning when starting computer, didn't boot desktop following message given :

(process:327 glibwarning**: getpwuid_r(): failed due unknown user id (o)
i user on desktop computer , have never had problem before. update installed, offered.

did ctrl + alt + delete , system booted , produced desktop, per normal.

have ideas, might happening , can done correct behavior?

today first day when appeared same warning before login system, hadnt problems on machine, logged in without problems , eveything working dont know mysterious message me.
im on mint 9 , installed on notebook of sister yesterday mint 9 lxde, same warning before login machine works.
