How do I save JPEG photos complete with their LR adjustments?

hello folks, please forgive daft question new lightroom user!

 

i imported few jpeg photos lr, made several adjustments improved images (well, thought did...) life of me couldn't work out how save results.

 

the stored files showed originals, in lr appeared adjustments. tried exporting them same result. i'm sure i'm overlooking obvious...

you question number 1.

you don't save in lr (lr goes along). see changes applied export , create new file. lr not change original file,
