removing column from table without table collapsing...

hi,

 

how can remove column without overall width of table collapsing?

i want evenly distribulte columns left set width remains same.

is possible? how? (sort of way react in dreamweaver)

 

when remove column messes table...it forces header text wrap below cannot have do.

ok, looks have manually re-drag table outward once again set overall width. please correct me if there's better method.

 

how stroke between rows runs directly across? default black. how control of change color?

i tried selecting of cells , went through tab options in pop-up dialog strokes in table. made no difference when tried alter it.

i have thin double-line verticle lines after every column separate content in table.

 

any ideas this?
