i cant get template override to work? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello guys..

i tried template override mod_mainmenu

and copied mod_mainmenu templates/templatename/html/ folder.. put code templatedetails.xml

code: select all

      <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/index.html</filename>
      <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/helper.php</filename>
      <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/legacy.php</filename>
      <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/mod_mainmenu.php</filename>
      <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/mod_mainmenu.xml</filename>
      <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/tmpl/default.php</filename>
       <filename>html/mod_mainmenu/tmpl/index.html</filename>


but not working? when try edit mainmenu module, nothing happens?

by default file override module mod_mainmeu default.php. per model view control design, override files under directory \tmpl.
