hello there all,
website started providing users 404 errors when visit homepage. have yet find source of issue (my .html , such seem fine). have older joompack backup thought i'd "install" see if fixed issue. (yay extensive screen-shots find out added new).

i have read through docs on joompack site, still wee bit confused. lay out me in simple steps?

1.i download extension upload backup?
2.do have "recreate" of directories? or joompack me?

the documentation on site wasn't bad, reason found myself getting lost.

usually has done external ftp program. files big upload via browser. however, install extension extplorer ... might let (depending on size of joomla pack file).

you may want take @ joomlapack's kickstart.php program. can simplify restore process.

but, 404 errors can fixed without restore. i'd suggest restoring sub-folder rather main site location see if indeed makes difference. you'd need set another, blank database restore post to, though.
