i installed glibc*, gcc* , g++ no avail. installed kdevplat*, error persists. package missing?code:error: iostream.h: no such file or directory
2) trying install boost:
i haven't done except use apt-get install, can't imagine there should conflicts?code:doriad@davidlaptop:~/bin/vtk$ sudo apt-get install libboost-* following packages have unmet dependencies: libboost-mpi-dev: depends: libboost-mpi1.40-dev not installable e: broken packages
thanks,
david
