General question: Joomla for an existing website - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i web designer, , raw code in html , css. don't need software dreamweaver, in past have shown 2 of customers how use dreamweaver make edits content in site, , upload new photos.
i'm building website (html & css) cafe business, , customer needs make frequent changes content on "daily specials" page. needs edit content of several separate paragraphs on page, , upload new image paired each paragraph.
my question this: joomla application -- simple content edits & image updates on single existing page?
if so, show customer how use joomla edit single page on website.
also, can pages on site managed in joomla, , static pages left alone? or whole site have set joomla.
i did read several getting started pages:
http://docs.joomla.org/beginners and
http://docs.joomla.org/how_to_convert_a ... !_web_site
http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla/getting-started.html
but couldn't find addresses question.
i have installed joomla 1.5.15 @ host provider, , set myself administrator. far, good. have decide if customer manage 1 page.
thanks
