Way to add "link to menu" code from Joomla 1.0 in 1.5 ? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,

does know how add code / patch files put 'link menu' option in article parameters in joomla 1.0 isn't in joomla 1.5??

it takes 8 steps add content / link menu in joomla, , 2 steps same in wordpress. big problem when explaining general non-tech users developer.


in wordpress: when creating new post or page > post takes add category - auto added category menu. page takes page title auto added page menu. publish. 1-2 steps.

in joomla: new article. publish. 2 steps.
then
open menu manager, choose specific menu ( if more 1 used ), choose article type, name menu title, select article, , choose position in menu. 6 steps add 1 menu link!!!

so 8 steps. instead of 2 steps.

note: tried "add menu" extension, setup developers not non-tech people. if person adds link wrong menu, or puts link in wrong position or wrong level, have go menu manager specific menu fix mistake.

help anyone?

i miss 1.0 option well. should easier is.

but, i've found "add menu" extension quite easy use. it's 1 i'm aware of @ point.
