HTML component with PDF disappears on rotate/scale

i have pdf loading <mx:html> source.  works fine.  however, in multi-touch application, need drag/rotate/scale wrapping container.  drag works fine.  however, when rotates/scales, pdf disappears.

 

from livedocs:

 

"if visual properties of htmlloader object contains pdf document changed, pdf document become invisible. these properties include filters, alpha, rotation, , scaling

properties. changing these properties renders pdf content invisible until properties reset. pdf content invisible if change these properties of display object containers contain htmlloader object."

 

 

is still limitation on air 2/hero?  there workaround container/html/pdf can support rotating/scaling?

 

i want multi-touch wall users able make pdf bigger, rotate container/pdf, , drag around wall.  drag/rotate/scale work on other component, not pdf.

 

please explain why disappears , if there workaround.

i never did find solution this.  reader doesn't support it.  ended doing use coldfusion's cfpdf tag automatically convert each page in pdf png, touch gestures on pngs.
