Thread: Getting email program to work with minor glitches

i switched kmail instead of evolution , managed set ok. reason being decided klam virus protection (perhaps not necessary) , setting evolution mail bit challenging klam virus. i'm not sure have reached stage know how pipe viruses folders.

had trouble sending email out evolution.

1 small glitch evolution mail , calendar still listed under applications. though program no longer there, , can't rid of it. how can fix that?

add calender. thinking google calender since using google account.

suggestions? or better off evolution mail , calender , forgetting virus protection stuff. far kmail seems little easier use me.

geeking out bit @ ubuntu software centre. figure @ limit before cause go terribly wrong computer.

if using kmail, might want make sure install full kontact. has calendar function , task etc integrated 1 application along mail.

far getting rid of evolution, can try clicking on system, preferences--> main menu, assuming using gnome.
