Thread: Wireless Disabled Following Reboot
i'm running ubuntu 10.04 64-bit on acer 7551 laptop. every time reboot laptop, atheros 9k wireless disabled. it's simple process enable each time (and works perfectly), process avoid having every reboot. i'm not interested in why happening, want know how fix - either changing config or writing script enable wireless on startup. since i'm new linux/ubuntu, i'm not sure how proceed.
couple of notes -
- when run "rfkill list" wireless says "soft blocked".
- "lshw -c network" shows network -disabled wireless.
let me know if need further info. in advance assistance.
